♦ Föstudagsmyndin: Á morgun opnar í Norræna húsinu sýningin Páfugl úti í mýri – Orðaævintýri. Sýningin er hluti af Mýrinni, alþjóðlegu barnabókmenntahátíðinni sem haldin er á tveggja ára fresti í Norræna húsinu, – og Lestrarhátíð í Bókmenntaborg 2014. Sýningarstjórar eru þau Kristín Ragna Gunnarsdóttir og Davíð Stefánsson. Ég kíkti í Norræna húsið um daginn, þegar undirbúningur stóð sem hæst, stóð hreinlega á gægjum! Fleiri myndir má sjá hér. ♦ Photo Friday: Tomorrow there will be an opening of an exhibition in the Nordic house in Reykjavík, called: A Peacock in the Moor – A Fairy-tale of Words. The exhibition is inspired by a selection of new Nordic children’s books and is dedicated to the joy of reading and playing with words. It is a part of the International Children’s Literature Festival Mýrin, a biennial hold in the Nordic House in Reykjavík, – and Reykjavík Reads Festival 2014. The exhibition is designed by graphic artist Kristín Ragna Gunnarsdóttir and author Davíð Stefánsson. I went to the Nordic house last week and and took a peek through a magic hole in the wall!
