BÓKVERK: Stundum leiðir þátttaka í fjölþjóðlegum listaverkefnum til þess að verkin fara vítt um heiminn. Nú rata tvö lítil bókverk á sömu listamessuna: Chart 2021 í Kaupmannahöfn, sem fer fram dagana 27.-29. ágúst.

Annars vegar eru það forkólfarnir í Northing Space og Kinakaal Forlag í Bergen, sem sýna norræn örbókverkasöfn. Nokkrir íslenskir teiknarar eiga verk í safninu og þar hef ég verkið Deadline. Norrænu smáritin eru m.a. kynnt hér og hér en Northing hefur staðið fyrir sýningum á smáritunum í bæði Oslo og Bergen og víðar.

Hins vegar verða þær stöllur í Codex Polaris á ferð með Bibliotek Nordica en þar er ég með „Kartöflugarðinn“ (Still growing potatoes).

BOOK ART FAIR: Participating in multinational art projects often leads to participation in exhibitions around the world. Now two of my small artist books from two different art projects will be displayed at the same art fair: Chart 2021 in Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen, from 27 – 29 August.

Northing Space and Kinakaal Forlag in Bergen will exhibit Nordic mini-zines. Several Icelandic illustrators have works in the collection: I have the tiny book Deadline. Northing and Kinakaal Forlag have been invited to the fair and have decided to launch the Nordic Minizine Boxes as one of Northing’s major projects at the fair.

Another work of mine: Still growing potatoes is a part of Bibliotek Nordica, introduced by the project leaders in Codex Polaris at Chart 2021.

If in Copenhagen, don’t miss the fair which has become one of the major art events in Scandinavia.
