♦ Bókaverðlaun. Franska útgáfan af Stór skrímsli gráta ekki var tilnefnd til frönsku barnabókaverðlaunanna Le Prix des Incorruptibles sem veitt voru í 23. sinn nú í vor. Tilkynnt var um verðlaunahafana á dögunum og hlaut Un grand monstre ne pleure pas þriðju verðlaun í flokki bóka fyrir yngstu börnin. Fyrstu verðlaun hlaut Edouard Manceau fyrir Si tous les éléphants s’appelaient Bertrand.

♦ Book Prize. The French edition of Big Monsters Don’t Cry was nominated to Le Prix des Incorruptibles last year. Last month the prize was handed out for the 23rd time, were Un grand monstre ne pleure pas got the third prize in the category of books for the youngest readers: maternelle. The monster series is published by Circonflexe.
