Föstudagsmyndir: Eins og svo margir sit ég við vinnu heima og fer ekki út á meðal manna nema brýna nauðsyn beri til. En það þýðir samt ekki að göngutúrar séu á bannlistanum. Fámennið á Íslandi hefur sína kosti og galla. Í þessu lúxuslífi innhverfunnar verður mér hugsað til þeirra sem vinna hörðum höndum við að sinna sjúkum, hjúkra, lækna og berjast gegn útbreiðslu veirufaraldursins. Vonandi getum við hin látið það fólk finna þá aðdáun og þakklæti sem það á skilið. Farið varlega.

Photo Friday: Working in solitude at home has been the norm for me for many years. But the social distancing is still an odd thing and new. We are not meeting friends and family, although not forbidden – yet. Belonging to a small population has its advantages and disadvantages. I praise the space we have to take walks without meeting a soul. It is a luxury. And in my privileged situation I can but only send my warmest thanks and admiration to all the health workers, laboratory technicians, doctors and nurses who are working around the clock to fight the virus pandemic. Take care all.
