Skrímslin bjóða heim – í Danmörku: Danska farandútgáfan af upplifunarsýningunni „Skrímslin bjóða heim“ er nú í Roskilde. Það er auðvitað gleðilegt að geta sagt frá því að enn sé óhætt að bjóða börnum að koma í heimsókn á bókasafn, þó farsótt herji á heiminn. Auðvitað eru sóttvarnir og brúsi af handspritti nú partur af prógramminu. Sýningin heitir á dönsku „Store Monster Lille Monster“ og er hluti af sýningarröðinni Fang fortællingen. Sýningin stendur til 15. nóvember 2020 í aðalbókasafni Roskilde.

Útgefandi bókaflokksins í Danmörku er Forlaget Torgard en alls hafa sex bækur komið út á dönsku.

A Visit to the Monsters – in Denmark: A small version of the exhibition A Visit to the Monsters, that was handed over to the Libraries of Gentofte, is now in Roskilde city. I am so happy to see that libraries are still trying to keep up the good work and invite young readers to come for a visit despite the difficulties with the pandemic. Of course the standard hand sanitizer is now a part of the exhibition.

The exhibition, called Store Monster Lille Monster (‘Big Monster Little Monster’), is a part of the exhibition series Fang fortællingen (’Catch the Story’) – 10 traveling exhibitions for public libraries in Denmark, based on popular children’s books. The exhibition about Little Monster and Big Monster will be at the main library of Roskilde City until 15 November, 2020.

The book series about the two monsters is published in Denmark by Forlaget Torgard.

Skrímslin í Álaborg | Little Monster and Big Monster in Aalborg Library

Skrímslin bjóða heim – í Danmörku: Danska farandútgáfan af upplifunarsýningunni „Skrímslin bjóða heim“ er nú komin til Álaborgar, sem er fimmti sýningarstaðurinn í Danmörku. Sýningin heitir „Store Monster Lille Monster“ og er hluti af sýningarröðinni Fang fortællingen. Sýningin opnar á mánudag, 3. febrúar, og stendur til 28. mars 2020 í aðalbókasafni Álaborgar.

Útgefandi bókaflokksins í Danmörku er Forlaget Torgard en von er á fleiri nýjum dönskum þýðingum.

A Visit to the Monsters – traveling around Denmark: A small version of the exhibition A Visit to the Monsters, that was handed over to the Libraries of Gentofte, a municipality close to Copenhagen, has now traveled to Aalborg city. The exhibition, called Store Monster Lille Monster (‘Big Monster Little Monster’), is a part of the exhibition series Fang fortællingen (’Catch the Story’) – 10 traveling exhibitions for public libraries in Denmark, based on popular children’s books. The exhibition about Little Monster and Big Monster will be at the main library of Aalborg City from February 3 to March 28, 2020. The Aalborg City Library is the fifth exhibitor to set up the monster-exhibition.

The book series about the two monsters is published in Denmark by Forlaget Torgard. More new translations are expected to be published in Denmark soon.

Skrímslin í Danmörku | Little Monster and Big Monster in Denmark

Skrímslin bjóða heim – í Danmörku: Hluti sýningarinnar Skrímslin bjóða heim hefur verið settur upp aðalbókasafni Gentofte, Gentofte Hovedbibliotek, undir heitinu Store Monster Lille Monster, og eru þessar myndir þaðan. Sýningin var löguð að verkefninu Fang fortællingen, – sýningaröð 10 mismunandi farandsýninga sem byggja allar á vinsælum barnabókmenntum. Þessi litla útgáfa sýningarinnar opnaði í september s.l. og mun eftir það ferðast um Danmörku til bókasafna sem panta sýningarnar og setja upp. Sýningin um skrímslin tvö er nú þegar bókuð til ársins 2020. Von er á fleiri nýjum dönskum þýðingum á skrímslabókunum frá Forlaget Torgard í Danmörku.

Auk sýningarinnar um litla skrímslið og stóra skrímslið eru settar upp sýningar byggðar á eftirfarandi bókum: Vikingesagn eftir Josefine Ottesen, Hr. Struganoff eftir Kim Fupz Aakeson, Min Mormors Gebis eftir Jakob Martin Strid, Mørkebarnet eftir Cecilie Eken, Garmanns Hemmelighed eftir Stian Hole, Kaskelotternes sang eftir Bent Haller, Lille Virgil eftir Ole Lund Kirkegaard, Nord eftir Camilla Hübbe og Den store djævlekrig eftir Kenneth Bøg Andersen.

A new version of the exhibition A Visit to the Monsters, that was handed over to the Libraries of Gentofte, a municipality close to Copenhagen, was opened in September in Gentofte, and will run until December 1st. This smaller version of the exhibition, called Store Monster Lille Monster (‘Big Monster Little Monster’), is now a part of the exhibition series Fang fortællingen (’Catch the Story’) – 10 traveling exhibitions for public libraries in Denmark, based on popular children’s books. The exhibition about Little Monster and Big Monster is now already booked until 2020, next traveling to Ballerup, also a township close to Copenhagen, opening in January, 2019. New books from the Monster series will be available soon in Denmark from the publishing house Forlaget Torgard.

Besides the exhibition about Little Monster and Big Monster there are exhibitions based on books by Josefine Ottesen: Vikingesagn, Kim Fupz Aakeson: Hr. Struganoff, Jakob Martin Strid: Min Mormors Gebis, Cecilie Eken: Mørkebarnet, Stian Hole:Garmanns Hemmelighed, Bent Haller: Kaskelotternes sang, Ole Lund Kirkegaard: Lille Virgil, Camilla Hübbe: Nord and Kenneth Bøg Andersen: Den store djævlekrig.
