Hrímaðar föstudagsmyndir: Það er fallegt en kalt á landinu bláa þessar vikurnar. Og kuldinn kemur víða að. Heimsfréttirnar vekja ugg og fáránlega neikvæð hugrenningatengsl við ís. „Þetta er nú bara klakastykki,“ sagði ófétið um Grænland. Og hryllingurinn sem ICE-liðar stunda ætti að vera okkur öllum viðvörun: það sama getur gerst alls staðar. Ekkert samfélag er ónæmt. Smithættan frá öfgahreyfingum eins og MAGA er hættulegri en nokkur pest.

Vonandi verða prjónaðar og bornar á höfði margar rauðar húfur í þessu frosti sem leggst að okkur.
Það er líka ískalt á Gazasvæðinu í gervi-vopnahléinu sem þar er. Hér er hægt að styrkja börn á Gaza.

Frosty Friday Photos: It’s beautiful but cold outside these weeks. On top of that there are so many chilling world news with all too negative associations with ice. “It’s just a piece of ice,” said the morbid president of the United States about our neighbour Greenland. And the horror and the crimes committed by the ICE-thugs in the US should be a warning to us all: the same thing can happen anywhere. No society is immune. The danger of transmission and contagion from MAGA and similar movements is more dangerous than any virus.

Hopefully many red hats will be knitted and worn in this frost that is approaching us.
