♦ Föstudagsmyndin: Þessi krummi tók á móti mér þegar ég kom heim í dag, en reyndi hvað hann gat til að hrella fastagestina á Melhaganum: starra og skógarþresti. Aðeins einn aumkunarverður starri reyndi að verja heiður götunnar og sat sem fastast á sínum pósti.

Ég hef verið að kenna nemendum í teiknideild Myndlistaskólans í Reykjavík sitthvað um letur og mynd og þess vegna settist krumminn á „K“ þegar ég fór að fikta við það sem festist á filmuna.

♦ Photo Friday: I met this raven when I came home today. It was terrorising the regular guests in our street: starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) and redwings (Turdus iliacus) with loud croaking and various odd sounds. Only one not-so-brave-looking starling stayed behind to defend the territory. Ravens (Corvus corax) are getting more and more common in Reykjavík, I guess some people like to feed them.

It has been a busy week where I also was teaching students in the department of illustration in The Reykjavík School of Visual Arts a bit about typography, images and letters. So therefore my raven – hrafn or krummi sat himself on the letter K.
