♦ Föstudagsmyndir – Litirnir í apríl: Gamlir skaflar hörfa nú sem óðast undan hækkandi sól. Í skamma stund skilja þeir eftir sig mynstur og liti sem úr má lesa átök veðra og vinda. Eins og fyrir töfra lifnar svörðurinn við og allt verður grænt fyrr en varir … Eða hvað? Enn snjóar. Svo mikið er víst að „hlýnandi loftslag“ á heimsvísu er langt í frá „spennandi“, svo vitnað sé í sturlaðran stjórnmálaflokk. Þetta þekkingarleysi og vanmat á náttúruöflunum hrollvekjandi og hættulegt.

♦ Friday Photo – Colors of April: In Iceland, the colors of spring are neighter green nor any light and bright colors of early spring flowers. This is the season where white turns brown and grey and yellow – only during the short summer we enjoy the many colors of green. Melting snow leaves all kind of odd patterns of dirt on the ground. But only for a short while, soon rain and wind has washed it all away.
