Sýningaropnun: Það var gaman að taka þátt í gleðinni í Berlín við opnun sýningarinnar „Klein aber Groß“ sem opnaði fimmtudaginn 17. júlí í félagsheimili Norrænu sendiráðanna: Felleshus. Opnunin var vel sótt af ungum sem öldnum og áhugi á norrænum myndabókum mikill og einlægur. Uppsetning verka og kynning var vel heppnuð en sýningarstjórinn, Johanna Stenback, bar hitann og þungan af vinnunni ásamt arkitekt sýningarinnar Mia-Irene Sundqvist og grafíska hönnuðinum Andrei Palomäki. Starfsfólk norrænu sendiráðanna tók líka vel á móti gestum með norrænum nammibar og fjörugu diskóteki, bókum og söluvörum þeim tengdum. Fjórir listamenn tóku þátt í opnun: Stina Wirsén frá Svíþjóð, Linda Bondestam frá Finnlandi, Amanda Chanfreau frá Álandseyjum og Áslaug Jónsdóttir – þar hittust gamlir vinir og nýir! Takk fyrir þetta sinn Berlín!

Exhibition opening: It was a true pleasure to take part in the festivities in Berlin at the opening of the exhibition “Klein aber Groß” which opened on Thursday 17 July in Felleshus, or pan-nordic building – the cultural centre and event venue of the five Nordic embassies: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The opening was well attended by young and old and the interest in the Nordic picture books was great. The installation of the works and the presentation were a success, carried out by the energetic curator, Johanna Stenback, together with the exhibition architect Mia-Irene Sundqvist and the graphic designer Andrei Palomäki. The staff of the Nordic embassies welcomed the guests with a Nordic candy bar and a lively disco, books and merchandise. Four artists participated in the opening: Stina Wirsén from Sweden, Linda Bondestam from Finland, Amanda Chanfreau from the Åland Islands and Áslaug Jónsdóttir. Old and new friends met there!
