Hlaðvarpsþáttur frá Berlín | Klein aber groß – Play Nordic

Myndabókaspjall: Norrænu sendiráðin í Berlín standa fyrir hlaðvarpinu PLAY NORDIC og í tengslum við sýninguna „Klein aber Groß“, sem opnaði 17. júlí s.l. í félagsheimili Norrænu sendiráðanna: Felleshus, voru tekin viðtöl við nokkra þátttakendur. Þátturinn er nú komin í útsendingu og má finna á heimasíðu sendiráðanna hér: Play Nordic – og á Spotify, Apple Podcasts og víðar. Viðmælendur eru sýningarstjórinn Johanna Stenback og höfundarnir Stina Wirsén frá Svíþjóð, Áslaug Jónsdóttir frá Íslandi, Linda Bondestam frá Finnlandi, Anna Jacobina Jacobsen frá Danmörku og Gry Moursund frá Noregi. Ég átti afar ánægjulegt samtal við rithöfundinn Florian Felix Weyh, en fleira þáttargerðarfólk kom einnig að gerð hlaðvarpsþáttarins.

Picturebook talk: A podcast program was made in connection with the exhibition “Klein aber Groß”, that opened on 17 July in Felleshus, in Berlin (the cultural centre and event venue of the five Nordic embassies: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden). The program is now available at PLAY NORDIC – the podcast run by the Nordic embassies. You can listen here: Play Nordic – and on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and more. The interviewees are the curator Johanna Stenback, and the authors/illustrators Stina Wirsén from Sweden, Áslaug Jónsdóttir from Iceland, Linda Bondestam from Finland, Anna Jacobina Jacobsen from Denmark and Gry Moursund from Norway. I had a very enjoyable conversation with writer Florian Felix Weyh, but other interviewers contributed to the podcast also.

Stórt og smátt í Berlín | Klein aber groß – exhibition opening

Sýningaropnun: Það var gaman að taka þátt í gleðinni í Berlín við opnun sýningarinnar „Klein aber Groß“ sem opnaði fimmtudaginn 17. júlí í félagsheimili Norrænu sendiráðanna: Felleshus. Opnunin var vel sótt af ungum sem öldnum og áhugi á norrænum myndabókum mikill og einlægur. Uppsetning verka og kynning var vel heppnuð en sýningarstjórinn, Johanna Stenback, bar hitann og þungan af vinnunni ásamt arkitekt sýningarinnar Mia-Irene Sundqvist og grafíska hönnuðinum Andrei Palomäki. Starfsfólk norrænu sendiráðanna tók líka vel á móti gestum með norrænum nammibar og fjörugu diskóteki, bókum og söluvörum þeim tengdum. Fjórir listamenn tóku þátt í opnun: Stina Wirsén frá Svíþjóð, Linda Bondestam frá Finnlandi, Amanda Chanfreau frá Álandseyjum og Áslaug Jónsdóttir – þar hittust gamlir vinir og nýir! Takk fyrir þetta sinn Berlín!

Exhibition opening: It was a true pleasure to take part in the festivities in Berlin at the opening of the exhibition “Klein aber Groß” which opened on Thursday 17 July in Felleshus, or pan-nordic building – the cultural centre and event venue of the five Nordic embassies: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The opening was well attended by young and old and the interest in the Nordic picture books was great. The installation of the works and the presentation were a success, carried out by the energetic curator, Johanna Stenback, together with the exhibition architect Mia-Irene Sundqvist and the graphic designer Andrei Palomäki. The staff of the Nordic embassies welcomed the guests with a Nordic candy bar and a lively disco, books and merchandise. Four artists participated in the opening: Stina Wirsén from Sweden, Linda Bondestam from Finland, Amanda Chanfreau from the Åland Islands and Áslaug Jónsdóttir. Old and new friends met there! Vielen Dank for this time Berlin!

Skrímslin í Berlín | Klein aber groß – exhibition in Berlin

Sýning: Sendiráð Norðurlandanna í Berlín efna til sýningar á barnabókum og myndlýsingum í Felleshus, sýningarrými og samfélagshúsi Norðurlandanna þar í borg. Sýningin opnar 17. júlí og stendur til 5. október 2025. Skrímslin verða þarna í góðum félagsskap en á sýningunni eiga eftirtaldir höfundar verk: Emma AdBåge (SE), Kjell Aukrust (NO), Linda Bondestam (FI), Amanda Chanfreau (AX), Rán Flygenring (IS), Anna Jacobina Jacobsen (DK), Tove Jansson (FI), Áslaug Jónsdóttir (IS), Maria Bach Kreutzmann (GL), Gry Moursund (NO), Bárður Oskarsson (FO), Jakob Martin Strid (DK) og Stina Wirsén (SE).

Exhibition: The Nordic Embassies in Berlin are organising an exhibition of children’s books and illustrations at Felleshus, the Nordic contries cultural centre and event venue in the city. The exhibition opens on July 17 and runs until October 5, 2025.
