Tildra og margæs | Ruddy turnstone and Brent goose

♦ Föstudagsmyndin: Fallegur fyrsti maí. Á Seltjarnarnesi hitti ég fyrir fallega fargesti: margæsahóp (Branta bernicla hrota) og eina staka tildru (Arenaria interpres).

♦ Photo Friday: It was a beautiful day, the first of May. I was busy at my desk all day but took a short stroll at Seltjarnarnes. I met this solo ruddy turnstone (Arenaria interpres) and a flock of brent geese (Branta bernicla hrota), stopping over on their way further north for the summer.
