Föstudagsmyndir: Eftir sólríkt og þurrt sumar sölna grös snemma og það er eins og haustinu liggi á. Snæfellsnesið var vindblásið í gær og í Skorradal fyrir rúmri viku voru haustlitir komnir á blöð og lyng. Bæjarlækurinn við Vatnshorn var nær þurr, en krækiberin safarík.

Photo Friday: After a dry and warm summer it feels as if autumn arrives early. The photos are from two trips, one I made yesterday to Snæfellsnes peninsula (photos below), the other to Skorradalur valley (photos above) the week before. In Skorradalur the grass had turned yellow and autumn colors were showing everywhere. The creek at the old farm Vatnshorn was almost dry, but the crowberries were sweet. The glacier Snæfellsjökull was hiding in the clouds, the wind was blowing the waterfalls upwards and the sea was rough. All pretty normal.
