Föstudagsmyndir: Þrátt fyrir sjálfskipuð sóttkví og takmarkanir á samkomum þá freista göngutúrar, hjólreiðar og hlaup við Ægisíðu. Fólk reynir að forðast nálægð við ókunnuga, en ferskt sjávarloft og birtan í suðri hefur sitt aðdráttarafl og lækningamátt. Við Ægisíðu stendur höggmyndin Björgun úr sjávarháska, eftir Ásmund Sveinsson. Sendum þakkir til þeirra sem vinna ómetanleg björgunarstörf þessa dagana. Farið varlega.

Photo Friday: A moment at Ægisíða, Reykjavík, where social distancing is taken to a test. Despite self-imposed quarantine and ban on gatherings, the daily hiking, cycling and running at Ægisíða-seashore are tempting. People try to avoid being close to strangers, but the fresh sea air and the sunlight in the south have their appeal and healing power.
The sculpture on the right is Rescue by Ásmundur Sveinsson. My deepest thanks to all of those rescuing lives in these times. Take care all.
