Kaldir dagar: Fyrstu dagar ársins hafa verið kyrrir og kaldir og það veit vonandi bara á gott. Ég hef notið gönguferða í fjörunni við Melaleiti, lesið í frostrósir og klakamyndanir. Ofurtungl og bjartar stjörnur hafa vegið upp á móti vetrarmyrkinu. Árið getur varla byrjað betur!

Cold days: I have spent this first week of the year at the family farm Melaleiti and enjoyed walks on the beach and in the fields in an exceptionally calm winter weather – that is soon to change. Days are short (sunrise at around 11:15, sunset at 15:50) but in the fairly clear weather the stars and that fantastic supermoon has brightened up the night sky. What a wonderful start of the new year!
